St Helens is along the East Lancashire Road from our base. We cover the town centre, Eccleston, Thatto Heath, Parr, Sutton and Rainford. We also go out to Haydock.
This is a glassmaking town. Pilkington started here and the World of Glass museum tells the story. There is still a lot of industry, with works and warehouses around the town and on Haydock Industrial Estate near the M6. That is where our commercial and industrial work goes on.
The homes are a mix of red brick terraces, 1930s semis and new estates around Lea Green and Bold. The terraces often need new consumer units and landlord EICRs. Sherdley Park and Haydock Park racecourse are the local landmarks.
